Mammoth Men Party in Utah!

I love the Mammoth Men.  For 1 most of them are personal friends of mine and have been for years, for 2 they are awesome photographers and for 3 they figured out a way to have sponsors pay for their “mancations.”  If  you do not follow their blog you are missing out on some great images and a whole lot of fun.  This mancation they traveled to Utah to play in the snow. They also decided to have a party this time since they had a house instead of being on the road the whole time.  Which leads me into my story…

So, I am looking through my e-mail a couple weeks ago.  As I am reading I see something that says, San Diego to Utah $39 each way.  Immediately I get on IM with my girlfriend Pepper Nix and tell her about it since she has been trying to get me out to visit for months.  We pick a date and she says do it.  So I call up and they tell me that the only days for the deal are Tuesday and Wednesday.  I deliver the bad news to Pepper and she comes back with, you should come for a slumber party.  Then she says, I think the Mammoth Men are going to here next week and I think they are going to be having a party.  Jump on IM again and jump on chat with Nate Kaiser.  The party was planned for Wednesday but he quickly makes some calls and changes it for Tuesday and a last minute trip is set in place.  

What do photographers do at a party?  Take pictures of each other of course.  I grabbed a couple of the shots off the Mammoth Men Blog.  Below are some of the images taken in the very fun Mammoth Men Crazy Booth. 

The great thing about this image is that Mark had no idea I was behind and the even funnier this is that rocket in the bottom right was about to hit me.  The rocket fight was a blast.  Thanks for the killer party guys, it was a so worth the trip!
