Engagement ~ Sarah Beth and Adam

When looking for love through the form of the amazing technology, is it strange for a Scientist to look for love that Chemistry.com?  Adam didn’t think so.

It is so incredible how technology has come into such important parts of our lives.  I try to put it in perspective once in a while.  We have so many great ways of connecting and staying connected now.  It could be staying in contact with friends on Facebook, finding old friends you thought you would never see again or meeting the person that you will share the rest of your life with.  I think back to just 15 years ago and the world as so different in the ways that we connected.  Back then you were looking to meet your soulmate at the grocery store.  Although that worked out AWESOME for my mom, now you are taking an in depth personality assessment and being matched up with someone who has the same values and principles in life.  Then you are being introduced by a computer and what sounds even crazier, it totally works.  I love it.  Congratulation you two!  Can’t wait for the wedding in December.

Sara - I can not remember the name of it but it is in Carlsbad. I know we parked right on the side of the road and went down to the beach.

Nelly - Hi Sarah, Which beach did you do this esession at? Thanks! Looks great!

Stephen Knuth - Great Job! I love the creative use of the video light!

jeramy - these are gorgeous sara….great job!

Chad Morgan - Love that shot on the rock, and that last one. Nice work, Sara.

Austin C Harrison - I love the technique it acts as a prop in the photo and also an up close diffuser great vision on your part sara

mark sweeney - Great shots Sara. I do love that last shot. Great use of the video light.

Steve DePino - great idea with the off camera video light /parasol combo!

John Heil - wow, great shots and great use of light!! Love that last one!

Sara - Austin – I lit the parasol with an off camera video light. I suggest bringing an assistant for this. Balancing the camera and the video light at the same time was not easy for sure! I snagged the parasol from a coordinator that has some extras from a wedding we did together. I love that it is white so it worked as a great soft box. Thanks for the comment!

Neal – Thanks for the comment and checking out the blog.

Austin C Harrison - love the umbrella pictures how did you illuminate the umbrella im guessing off camera speedlight

neal carpenter - Best use of a parasol ever!
