As Scott strummed his acoustic guitar in the hills of California. Reiley stood there examining the place where she had grown up. When we arrived for the shoot, surrounding us was the simple – small town feel of white fences, tall grass fields & old town remnants that still stood revealing the old heritage of the great town. One thing I love about San Diego, you can drive 30 minutes in any direction and you will find ocean, desert, inland fields & costal communities.
There is something so sweet about Reiley and Scott. You can tell they just love being together. Whether they were sitting on the porch and Scott was serenading up with his guitar or if they were playing around in the wide open California fields. They are so happy just to hang out together. You could look at either of them and you would find a smile looking back.
I loved hearing their story of meeting while they were studying abroad. I just had this incredibly romantic vision of them in Spain meeting and having this whirlwind romance and thinking this could never last. How exciting it is to be here years later planning their wedding and living out a dream neither of them could have imagined would come together.
I am looking forward to their wedding later this year at L’Auberge Hotel in Del Mar, CA.
