San Diego Safari Park with a Giraffe named….

When I was trying to decide on the right name for the Giraffe, I thought the best judge of the Giraffe’s name would be the person who knows the Giraffe the best, Nurit, the bride. Shot at the San Diego Safari Park, this has become one of Sara France’s most iconic images.

She was happy to help and so we have a winner! The Giraffe’s name is…. Lenny! Congratulations to Jessica Beltran. She won a $50 Gift Certificate at Sara France Photography.

It is not hard to see how much fun these two are! This Little Italy Engagement was such a blast. I love the yellow walls in Little Italy.

Little Italy is one of my favorite spots to shoot San Diego engagements! It is so diverse, and there are many different opportunities for the perfect shot.

Downtown San Diego Portrait ~ Nea and Family

Oh the beautiful Nea! I feel this need to tell you all about Nea. She is such a beautiful and strong woman. She is a mother, and a wife. I had such an amazing time on our shoot. I was so blessed by her beauty and her soft nature. She is one of those women who has no idea how beautiful she is.

Nea is the wife of Chad Morgan of Chad Morgan Photography in Colorado. Chad is an extremely talented photographer! So right about now you are thinking, so why did he hire you to take pictures of his wife. That of course was the first question that I asked him when he called. Chad’s most difficult subject has always been his beautiful wife because as we all know, when our significant other wants to take a picture of us we for some reason turn into this crazy, goofy. shy versions of ourselves. Nea needed a woman’s touch and she deserved a photoshoot all her own. So we started the Portrait Shoot in Downtown San Diego…

You have no idea how badly I wanted to cut my hair short again after this shoot. Her hair is freaking hot! I love it!

Nea is laughing here because there was some guy in his underwear calling out about how hot she was from a hotel across the street. I know, you thought it was because I was funny. I thanked the guy if that makes it any better.

So, I had to make one stipulation that when we were done with Nea’s shoot we would meet up for a couple pictures of the whole family. Since I know that is something that we photographers can not do ourselves. I fell in love with their daughter. She is totally a reflection of her parents. Beautiful, playful, and fun! ADORABLE!

Chad, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture your family. You are truly blessed!

Pacific Beach Engagement Session- Part 2

Here is part two of the engagement in Pacific Beach. There was so much fun going on during this session that we had to break it up into two posts. My favorites have to be the ones at the very end though! I just love that last jumping shot. She really got some air!

I also wanted to find out where you think that Justin and Kiley should get married. They are deciding on a destination wedding location and are totally open for suggestions. So, where do you thin they should get married?

Pacific Beach Engagement Session- Part 1

You may remember the couple whose proposal we shot where we, meaning Jeremy, were crawling in the bushes to get the undercover shot.

A few days later we got together for a fun engagement session down in Pacific Beach and we had so much fun! The couple rented bikes for the day and we hung out on the boardwalk, under Crystal Pier and on the beach. Kiley and Justin are so much fun! Luckly, Kiley brought this cute white dress even though she had no idea that she was even getting engaged on this trip to San Diego. Justin did such a great job with the surprise proposal! Make sure to check out those images too. They are really fun.
