Bay Area Family Shoot- Robinson Family

Oh how much I love the Robinson Family. I first met them a couple years ago when they hired me to shoot their wedding. I first saw how special on their engagement session that we shot in Palm Springs. These two were so obviously madly in love. They were already legally married but they had decided to have the big celebration when the time was right and man was it a beautiful celebration! Since then they have expanded that family to include not one but two beautiful children.

Last year they moved to Monterey, CA so I headed to Monterey for their family shoot. Monterey is not only beautiful but has a really mystical feel to it with the fog and the amazing Monterey Cypress trees. Wait till you see the trees!!!!

How adorable is this baby!!!! Makes baby photography look so easy when you have such a great model.

I especially love the seagull in this shot. I told him to do that. Chris is one of the sweetest dads I have ever seen. He is so patient and loving and you can tell how much he loves his family. It is a beautiful thing to capture.

Here it is, the Monterey Cypress Tree. I love this shot. It just shows how much fun they have with their kids.

The Montery Cypress Tree also looks awesome when you photograph it from below. It is my favorite angle on them.

Thank you Robinson family for sharing your lives with me, for bringing me out to Monterey and for always being such amazing hosts to me. I can’t wait to do it again next year!

Gene Higa & Jose Villa Italy Workshop

Italy is a dream… The coastlines are breathtaking, the food & wine are memorable, the experience you take home with you lasts a lifetime. Wow, I really want to go there now!! Beyond all those great things Italy has to offer, it is a perfect place to conduct a workshop! The lighting is so warm, the surroundings are stunning and the people are so genuine.

My great friends & Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the world, Gene Higa and Jose Villa are excited to bring to you this awesome opportunity to join them in a 3 day Wedding Photography Workshop in the Chanti Hills of Tuscany on October 27-29, 2009. It is always a profound experience meeting these two at an event, but nothing can ever beat this opportunity. If you are a photographer looking for a workshop to attend, this would be on the top of my list.

Jose and Gene are so down to earth and real and so incredibly talented. They will be great to learn from and a blast to hang out with, in ITALY!

They blocked out 1 whole week at the Chanti Farm Villa, which was built more than 300 years ago! Stay as long as you’d like for only $85 a night.

If I were going to Italy today, I would need to search for food, models and some great white dresses! Don’t worry about a thing on this trip!! They are giving access to a personal chef, models, make-up, floral, and much more!! This is a dream trip for any photographer!
