Rancho Bernado Wedding- Christy and Jason

I loved shooting Christy and Jason! They are such a fun couple! They met at the high school they both teach at. In case you missed it, check out their engagement shoot that I posted, it really tells you a lot about their personality.

Christy and Jason got married at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. It was such pretty wedding ceremony! Definitely a wonderful venue if you are looking for one!

During the father-daughter dance, they did a tribute to Christy’s mother who had previously passed away. It was very sad, but so precious!

La Jolla Country Club Wedding- Emma and Camille

The La Jolla Country Club is one of my favorite places to shoot a wedding, and Emma and Camille certainly made it even more of joy. Emma looked so elegant and Camille so handsome. It was a beautiful wedding!

Most people think a wedding at a golf course wouldn’t be too appealing, but at the La Jolla Country Club, it is. It is so gorgeous here! I would shoot here any day!

San Diego Beach Family Lifestyle Shoot

This last Holiday season I finally got to do the kind of family shoot I love to do. If you are wondering what my family shooting style is, well look no further than this shoot.

Side note for a second. I have realized this last year that what I love about weddings is watching as a family is created and after the wedding I don’t want to stop being involved in capturing the development of that family. What brings me the most joy is being a part of their first pregnancy, taking baby pictures, then taking family pictures. Getting to know the family and watching the kids grow every year. It is really the true relationship that keeps giving and it is so much fun to be a part of documenting the lives of these families. This is such a huge part of why I am a photographer and why I love what I do so much! Okay back to the Isreal Family.

I was a part of Michelle and Rich’s wedding which included a huge piece of bringing their two families together. They both had children from previous marriages and really wanted this to become a new family. The family was part of their engagement session, a huge part of the wedding, and now to see the kids all together like siblings was so much awesome to see. Meet the Isreal Family….

The goal for the shoot was just to hang out on the beach. They are all big surfers so they loved the idea of hanging out on the beach for a photo session.

As you can see the guys have had no trouble warming up to the roll of picking on a little sister.

I don’t think she is hating the idea either.

Lifestyle Photography for families. Can’t to share a couple other shoots from this holiday. Only in San Diego can you get weather like this in November. Next up…The Krawczyk’s

Balboa Park Engagement | Christy & Jason

I did this engagement shoot in the heart of San Diego which is Balboa Park. There are so many different types of settings to choose from. I thought this location would be perfect for such a energetic and active couple, especially with their dog Morgan. Balboa Park features Spanish-Renaissance style buildings that make it seem like it’s been around forever even though the park itself is only 100 years old. Christy and Jason brought some youth to liven up the place.

Christy and Jason have a really fun love story. They are both teachers and they met at the High School that they both worked at. Since then they have moved to separate high schools. These two LOVE sports. As you can tell in the images. You have to see the groom’s cake from the wedding. It was the cutest thing!

It’s almost impossible to live in San Diego and not be a Chargers fan. What better place than Balboa Park to show your Charger pride!

Such an incredible couple! I am so blessed to have been a part of your wedding day and your engagement. I am so excited for your lives together. Such a power couple!
