I’m going to check that link out. Sara already has some presets out I think. I joined maccreate which hosts an aperture network and got some free presets and lots of helpful info. If you haven’t checked it out you should.

Erik! LOL… my son Chésaweh is waiting for ME to win!! I’m enjoying curves too. All the adjustment panels seem more sensitive than before and I’m hardly opening PS at all. Love that! Starting to find presets for A3 online too which I’m really pleased about. Start by searching apple.com/aperture/resources. Best thing about them is how easily you can adjust them to your own tastes. Can’t WAIT for @sarafrance’s presets!

Hey Erik! Not yet… Still hoping to beat you friend. Sadly I won’t be at WPPI this year. Staying home with my new baby. Next year I’ll be there fo sho! Dodge & burn rock. So nice to have them totally in A3 instead of how it was in A2.

Great Study Hall. I use Aperture, not Lightroom. Am still amazed at how much I can do in Pages and have used Pixelmator some.
I love Aperture’s library system and have been using the album design. Aperture 3 is great, just frustrating that some of my thumbnails are still strange and still crashing some even with the update.
Looking forward to learning it better! Was at One to One today:-)

Okay, giving up on my strategy now. Was waiting for the comments to get up to the nineties before saying anything but I’m bursting with excitement still so got to just get it out! I can’t wait for your DVD Sara. I love Aperture but often feel like I’m not using it to its fullest potential. Any help in that department is greatly appreciated!

Yes we are going to and we are going to add some video trainings to them. Exciting stuff!!
Now I will leave iPhoto behind for good. I always used Aperture for main work, and iPhoto for some cool features. Finally, Aperture is a real superset of iPhoto – very exiting!

I’m making the jump from Lightroom to Aperture 3! Two things I wish it has (or that I didn’t see): graduated filters, and a history of all of the adjustments. Other than that, it looks amazing!

Hey Steve, One of my favorite things to do is take people to the Apple store to buy their first apple computer. Let me know when you are ready. I know that makes Aperture like 2k instead of $199 but it is still worth it and you get an Apple computer with it. Yeah!

Good questions. The download sheet is there to make sure that every card and image is accounted for after a shoot. Also, my studio manager is the one that does the does the download so I needed to put in things that would allow her to be able to check the images since she was not at the shoot. Then I can always look at the download sheet if something looks like it might be missing and it alerts her to talk to me if something does not match up.
